Engaging itself in the « One Health » approach (following the dynamic set by the « One Health in Pratice » seminar taking place on march the 17th of 2021 on the VetAgro Sup campus in Marcy l’Étoile), the International Actions service of ENSV-FVI, in association with the DGAL and the ANSES (ANSES-ANMV Fougère and ANSES Lyon), is helping build an operational approach to global health in line with the 2021-2025 strategic plan of VetAgro Sup.

Indeed, eleven senior executives from six different countries (Gabon, Hong-Kong, Malaysia, Phillipines, Senegal and Swaziland) and working in 3 different fields : animal health, human health and the environnement, will take part in the ENSV-FVI « Spring Course » opening this Monday,15th of march 2021.

Reoriented on an online format because of the on-going health crisis, this new course will enable participants to develop a better understanding of global action plans (including the OIE and FAO’s) and of intergovernmental standards regarding AMR. They will also have the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge about how to implement appropriate measures to fight AMR and to access valuable feedback regarding field experiences (in part thanks to a farm and/or veterinary clinic inspection methodology conveyed through audiovisual support).
